Double your donation: dāna matching for Dāna Vihāra!

A kind supporter has stepped forward with the incredible offer of matching donations of €500 and above made between April and July, up to a total of €5,000!

As many of you know, we recently left Barcelona and moved to Valderrobres in order to develop the Saraṇa Vana project .

We had originally planned to take a slow, step-by-step approach to settling in Valderrobres and simply use the proceeds from the sale of our previous house to cover the costs of the new property, although we recognized that longer-term we would need extra space for our community. By quite extraordinary coincidence, just as we completed the purchase of the new building for Saraṇa Vihara, another property came onto the market just a few doors down for a very reasonable price—as you might have already guessed, we were able to secure it!

This property, now known as Dāna Vihāra, is already starting to provide accommodation for our medium and long-term guests, even though it is still undergoing considerable repair work. These guests help to keep the place running, and we’re so pleased to be able to accommodate them while still keeping space to accept practitioners wishing to visit for a short stay. To secure Dāna Vihāra, we were offered a private loan from another donor who was truly inspiring in their willingness to help and allowed us to move forward with this opportunity.
